Gabicci: Big in the '80s, and big now.
An underground style leader in the '70s when launched, Gabicci became adopted by the 'northern soul' music scene and later the '80s casuals culture- leading to its prominent showing in The Firm alongside '80s stalwarts Fila and Sergio Tacchini. The association with football and music led to Gabicci Vintage becoming a favourite of several music and sports icons in recently. Aggro Santos can be found wearing Gabicci Polo tops, BBC 1 Xtra DJs Rampage are Gabicci fans too, and can often be seen sporting Gabicci goods. Sportsmen Rio Ferdiand wears Gabicci, and Ian Wright can often be seen in Gabicci shirts on television.
These celebrity endorsements show that Gabicci is as strong a brand now as it was in the '70s and '80s. Get yours now- Gabicci at Stuarts.

Jump on while your can

IT’S all part of the evening attire in the movie latest Nick Love film The Firm and the newly released Firm jumpers in the Gabicci Vintage range are nothing short of classic.

The extra large G logo stands out on the chest of the jumpers and cardigans similar to the old Lyle and Scott badges, providing a nice touch without being too OTT.
The ranges as sported by Dominic (Calum McNab) in the film, along with various other members of the West Ham firm for the silver screen, are available in V-neck jumpers and cardigans.
The jumpers come in a grey or black, with a mixed wool, acrylic combination.
The cardigans are available in black and cobalt blue and have a five-button front in a slim fit.
Strictly limited edition, catch these babies before it all kicks off.

Gift of the Gab (Gabicci)

TAKING the off-street scenes in the Nick love movie The Firm (remake), Gabicci’s new vintage range adds some business like attire to the Casual scene.
Like a starting XI of some of the country’s greatest footballer, the Italian brands Vintage range 1973, is pure class.
The Law, Hurst, Shilton, Royle, Keegan, Brady, Brooking, Best, Summerbee, Channon and Lineker T-shirts are a stylish as the players whose names that grace them.
For me the most sublime is the Law shirt, with its fabulous low cut two-stripe contrast neck is a cracker. In navy with red and white with green trims, no archetypal pockets here, but the shirt sports the usual classic g logo on the chest and three branded buttons.
The styles of the shirts are cleverly designed to reflect the era of the players, for example the Shilton shirts sport angled patches on the arms, and coloured collars, while the Royle tops, are a standard t-shirt design, as worn in football tops of the 1960s with a pocket where an old club badge would have been fixed.
Stepping out in style, the jumper range start with the toothless England star Stiles and has a cricket jumper collar available in navy, Italian blue and bright grey.
Taking there name from aforementioned movie, The Firm cardigans and jumpers are plainer in look, which allows the famous g badge to stand out.
The v-neck jumpers come in black and grey, while the five-button cardigans in slim fit.
Pure class throughout, this vintage range is a stand out look, due mainly to its classic cuts and lines and this new range, which inspires memories of style both on and off the pitch is one to check out.

Gift of the Gab

IT conjures up a smarter side of casual clothing, a wiser head wearing the look, almost jazz like in some of it’s cuts, and definitely hankering to the classic Mod look, but whatever images or feel, Gabicci holds its own.
The arrival of the 1973 range ticks all the above boxes, and nice little touches, which had remained a distant memory such as the added lines or button down pockets are a joy to behold.
The Summerbee white – colbalt shirt highlights this, sublime light blue piping and just the thinnest of outlines around the breast pocket are enough to show its class, with the classic G logo, which falls somewhere between a lightning flash and a question mark.
The use of suede is synonymous with this Italian brand and checking out the Panel Front Tan zip top brings s sigh in anyone, it is timeless and smacks of cool evenings out and great memories.
The whole range looks sublime and worth buying, but it is the combination of looks that Gabicci offer, which makes it so appealing, the v-neck jumpers or cardigans with their multi-panel colouring, just seems to have it, and the current trend for the trilby hat, means they work perfectly with modern looks, despite not changing their designs since conception in 1973.
That in itself is something to marvel at.
For me, I will be checking out the fantastic ski style v-necks three stripe jumpers.
But then again how can anyone not be drawn to the Alessandro or Leonardo ranges, with that oh so nice suede pocket.
